What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?
Coral, teal, and peacock. We chose these colors because they were unique and not your everyday colors.
What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?
No specific inspiration, but when we saw River Park we knew that it fit us. The mix of indoor and outdoor styling really fit who we are.
Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?
We chose Celebrations on the River because of its convenient and unique location. All of the services Celebrations on the River offers makes the big day (and planning) very stress free. From setup to take-down, from decorations to food, they covered everything. The picture paths and outdoor features make this venue incredible for pictures and “awh-ing†your guests.
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
Our favorite moment was walking into the venue on the morning of the big day. We were both somewhat nervous leading up to the day, hoping that everything would be as we wanted. When we walked in and saw everything as we had dreamed, it helped the stress melt away. Having Sarah there making sure everything was in order helped even more to put us at ease.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Absolutely nothing, the day was perfect!
What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?
The color scheme – it is the last of your worries on the day of! Our color scheme was unique and I made all the bouquets and boutonnieres myself. I was so worried that the color of the flowers would not go with the dresses since we ordered the bridesmaids dresses online. Day of it did not matter, everything was perfect!
What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?
Use the same vendor (if possible) for as many things as possible, it is less people to work with and less things to stress about.
How did you manage your guest count?
This was easy, we simply didn’t have that many people we wanted to invite. We just invited close family and friends.
Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Hair/Makeup, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?
DJ: Chedderhead DJ.

Hair: Heavenly Crossroads Spa and Salon.
