What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?

Eggplant Purple, and Silver. The colors popped with the greenery backdrop at the alter.

What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?

We wanted a timeless elegant look to pair with the modern venue.

Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?

The venue is unmatched, the room was so spacious and we loved having the capability of going to and from the beautiful outdoor lighted scenery.

What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?

Our ceremony, it was so special to have written our own vows and have a loved one officiate the wedding for us. The alter and outdoor setting was gorgeous.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?

I tried to rush pictures in hopes of not annoying the wedding party and family members, but just trust in the process and allow plenty of photography time.

What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?

We were trying to keep our decorations minimal, but were nervous we weren’t doing enough. However Celebrations speaks for itself and you can’t beat flowers and candles.

What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?

Take time to determine what is important to you and incorporate it into your special day, the wedding goes so fast so remember to do what makes you happy.

How did you manage your guest count?

We wanted a smaller intimate feel, so we kept it to immediate family and friends. It’s hard not to invite everyone but we were able to easily talk with all our guests which we enjoyed very much.

Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Hair/Makeup, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?

We searched through reviews but were also being budget conscious with our decisions.
