What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?

We chose rust, navy blue, & gold accent colors for our color palette. These colors look amazing together for an early fall wedding. They also looked fantastic with our venue at River Park because of all the warm tones inside the reception hall & outside against the wedding altar.

What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?

The inspiration for the look was lots of greenery & rust colored flowers, with gold accents because it felt really romantic & gave fall vibes!!

Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?

The venue made it so easy to plan our wedding. Everything was all in one place, it was stunning & we knew our guests would love it!

What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?

My favorite moment was when I walked down the aisle and saw everyone there. It was such a surreal moment & it made the entire process feel real & all of the hard work put into the wedding planning was worth it!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?

We would not change anything, besides limiting the alcohol a little more! It got to be expensive & our guest did not finish all of the alcohol we had pre-purchased.

What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?

Just have fun with it! The engagement goes quickly, the wedding planning can seem stressful but ask for help, it is all worth it in the end. Make sure to spend time with your spouse during the wedding day, don’t worry about talking to everyone!!

How did you manage your guest count?

We made it clear who could have a plus one. We also sent out reminders to those who did not rsvp a couple weeks before our deadline to have a better idea on who would be coming!

Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Hair/Makeup, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?
