What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?
Burgundy, rose blush, green, gold
Why did you host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?Â
We fell in love with the venue. Everything from the outdoor setting with trees to inside and outside bars to decor… it was hard to say no!
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
The ceremony – we loved having it outside on the water. Our guests would not stop talking about how beautiful it was outside.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
No – just less humidity! 😉
What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?Â
The rain- it was going to be beautiful no matter what. Luckily the rain stopped in time for pictures and the ceremony but when it came down to the last few hours before, all that mattered is we were getting married and we had an inside option!
What advice do you have for future couples planning their wedding?
Never too late to start planning, organizing, reaching out to vendors, etc… it was nice to feel relaxed the last few days leading up to the wedding.
How did you manage your guest count?Â
Made several priority lists & had our parents to the same.
Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Hair/Makeup, Florist, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?
- DJ: Ever After – great online reviews
- Photographer: Those Gals Photography/Ashley Muller – a local Winona photographer who’s done several weddings before, very reasonable pricing
- Florist: Gunther’s in Onalaska – good online reviews
- Hair/Makeup: Luxe Hair and Beauty
