What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?
Burgundy, gray, and off white
What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?
We went for the rustic inspired wedding style. We wanted a fun and casual wedding environment.
Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?
The venue is STUNNING and I had heard so many great things about their weddings. They were available to assist with decor and they had a back-up weather plan set in place. Those were two important details for us.
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
Getting to celebrate with all of my loved ones and dancing on that dance floor ALL night long!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Absolutely not
What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?
The MUSIC and the timing of everything. In all reality, it all got done and the guests are not aware of your exact timeline expectations. Don’t let the stress effect your ability to enjoy the experience and embrace the imperfections.
What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?
It’s important to decide whether you want to do all the work OR pay someone/or multiple people to do all the work for you. Either way, you need to know what you’re getting yourself into. Weddings are SO much work

I used theknot.com and built a wedding website. Highly suggest and recommend this
Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Hair/Makeup, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?
Make-Up: Make Up by Sarah Koblitz
DJ: DJ Mix of La Crosse
Flowers: Wildflowers Events Floral Design and Decor
Hair: Su Casa Salon
Dessert: Crumbtastic Cakery (cheesecake bars)
I found them all by asking local people about suggestions and searching the Internet. I would highly suggest and recommend ALL of the above venders. Everyone was wonderful and everything was perfect.
