What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?
Dusty Sage & Gray. Our wedding was originally supposed to be May 9 2020 perfect colors for a spring wedding but Covid had other plans for us. However, we kept the same colors for what ended up being a late summer/early fall wedding celebration.
What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?
Classic/simple chic with a touch of rustic
Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?
It was the first venue we toured and they had everything we wanted. We loved that everything was in one spot and not to mention no other venue compared!
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
We can’t just pick one moment, we loved all of it! After having to reschedule our wedding date 2 times due to Covid, we were happy that 3rd time was the charm and we were finally able to celebrate!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Not to be married in the middle of a pandemic!
What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?
Honestly we didn’t really obsess over anything as we rescheduled the date 2 different times due to Covid so by the time the 3rd time came around we were just happy to finally celebrate!
What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?
Don’t sweat the small stuff, your day will be great! Ann and the crew at Celebrations were amazing with set up, making our vision come alive and making the day move along seamlessly and not to mention taking the stress off of us so we could enjoy every moment of our day!
How did you manage your guest count?
Covid had a huge hand in managing the guest count.
