What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?

Cinnamon and Earthy tones with gold accents. We wanted to really bring out the natural beautiful fall colors, especially around the water.

What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?

We wanted the feel of our wedding to be warm and romantic, especially with the chilly weather, I think we were able to capture that pretty well!

Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?

From the beginning, Celebrations was so hands-on with every step. The VIP package was what made our decision so easy! Along with the absolutely breathtaking venues. Meeting with the staff regularly to plan each little detail definitely put us at ease, and completely stress free.

What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?

Our favorite moment of our wedding day was expressing our love in front of all of our favorite people in our lives. Even though it started snowing the morning of, and raining during, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Even though it wasn’t a small wedding by any means, it still had that intimate feel.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?

People have often asked us if we would change anything about our day, and we always answer with absolutely nothing. Our day was perfect in our eyes, and that’s all we could ever ask for!

What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?

The thing we obsessed over the most was the seating chart. It was difficult trying to sit guests with one another that we thought would best fit, but in the end everyone is there to celebrate with us. Where they sat was not a big deal by any means, as long as we were all together!

What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?

How did you manage your guest count?

We came up with an initial guest list, realized it was well over what we had planned and then dwindled it down from there. We wanted to keep it to close family and friends.
