What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?
Peacock, silver and black. Peacock is my favorite color and andy and I added silver and black to ensure the peacock popped.
Why did you host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?
We chose Celebrations because they have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the river in the background and a large indoor space to host all our guests that is absolutely gorgeous. Another reason we chose this venue was due to a package deal that was offered which saved us money and made everything go very smooth.
What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?
Our first look!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Ordered more cupcakes from the baker and make sure to talk with DJ more than a day before the wedding. The DJ would not respond to our emails.
What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?
Making sure all decor was set up before the wedding started
What advice do you have for future couples planning their wedding?
Start early and enjoy the process. By starting early it relieves the stress of trying to do everything last minute. On wedding day, try to spend the entire day together so that you have memories together
How did you manage your guest count?
We made one large list of everyone and from there start with immediate family and friends you have to have at your wedding. From there you get a number and then can add in any other people you want at your special day.
Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Hair/Makeup, Florist, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?

- Florist: Cottage Garden Floral
- Dessert: Rhonda’s sweet treats
We chose most our vendors via a list provided by celebrations. We selected them via that list from the VIP package and a brief meeting asking some questions.
