What was your color palette? Why did you choose those colors?

Our color palette was coral, tan, blush pink, and silver. I chose those colors because coral is my favorite color and I found inspiration from Pinterest and found that I liked those colors together.

What was the inspiration for the look and feel of your wedding?

I always knew I wanted a princess, ballroom, fairy-tale type wedding with beautiful chandeliers. I’m sure that vision came from many movies and TV shows I’ve seen over the years. Which Center Court fits that vision perfectly!

Why did you choose to host your wedding at Celebrations on the River?

We chose Celebrations on the River for our wedding because Center Court fit the vision I had in my head and because we liked that Celebrations had the VIP packages. We also loved that we could get ready and have our ceremony and reception all in one place. We also loved the location right on the river and the picture paths!

What was your favorite moment of your wedding day?

My favorite moment of our wedding day I think had to be our grand march! We did a sports themed grand march that I made a skit for and I just love how much fun we and our bridal party had with it! The guests enjoyed it too, which was great!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?

One thing I wish I could go back and change is making sure my hoop skirt that was under my ball gown was tied higher on my waist. I kept stepping on it! LOL

What was one thing you obsessed over, but realized it did not matter?

Something I obsessed over was my wedding playlist. This is something I wish I wouldn’t have obsessed so much over because my guests made a lot of song requests so more of those songs got played.

What advice do you have for future couples planning their weddings?

Advice I have for future couples planning their weddings is to not stress about every detail and to know that everything may not go the way you had planned it in your head. I was a very detailed and organized bride and not everything went exactly how I had envisioned it, and that’s okay!

How did you manage your guest count?

How I managed our guest count was first by looking at who in our families needed to be invited or who we thought would come and then looking at our friends. Thankfully Center Court can hold a lot of people so we were able to invite a lot of people. We then had our ceremony in Serenity Hall which was able to hold a good amount of people as well.

Who were your vendors? (DJ, Photographer, Flowers, Hair/Makeup, Dessert, etc.) How did you choose them?

DJ: Complete Entertainment (We had met them in person at Wedding Worlds and they were on Celebrations DJ VIP vendor’s list.)

Photographer: Sarah Schultz Photography (I researched all of the photographers on Celebrations VIP list and found that I really liked Sarah’s style.)

Flowers: JJ’s Floral Shop (JJ’s is a floral shop in my hometown that I have gotten flowers from for years. So I knew I wanted her to do my wedding flowers!)

Hair: Blondes and Bridals (Courtney had done one of my bridesmaid’s hair before for another wedding and I loved it so I knew I wanted to book her!)

Makeup: Glam and Glow by Kaylee (Kaylee was a recommendation from one of my bridal party members!)

Cake: Linda’s Bakery (I have had many desserts from Linda’s bakery and have heard how great they are which is why we chose them!)

Videographer: Toast Wedding and Films (My coworker had this company for her wedding and had recommended them to me!)
